RESCUES AND RE-HOMERS
LOOKING TO GO HOME WITH YOU!
First Steps
Prior to adopting a Rescue rabbit, an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption. An adoption application will be sent to you once we receive your request. Check your spam folder.
Include in your email, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away. We can try to help you find that perfect bunny. If you live far away, and are accepted to adopt, you can likely pick up your bunny on your appointment day.
If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them. They just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.
If a bunny is in pending status, they are already going through an adoption process. If a bunny is on hold, it could be it is showing signs of a sickness, is hurt or has babies, or is on old for a variety of other reasons. You can still adopt but they will have to stay here until we think they are ready for adoption.
All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com
All adoption fees run from $30-$160 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.
We had to up our rates on the ones we fix on our own and I do apologize but in the long run this is helping you adopt a bunny and not have to worry about paying hundreds of dollars that it cost to fix a bunny. If they come in and are fixed this does helps us keep the cost down for those bunnies. Parents dropping off bunnies also help pay a fee to go towards getting them fixed so this too will help some of them be at a lower cost. This was a hard decision to make but to make sure they are cared, loved and feed properly and can continue saving bunnies and adopting them to a new family that will love them forever, it was something we had to do
We are working hard on getting most of the bunnies spayed/neutered. This is so exciting to add to our new adventure. Getting Bunnies spayed/neutered is a very high cost. Because of this, our adoption prices will also be going up. But this will help you have a better potty trained, happier, and healthier bunny. It depends on what the re-homer pays when dropping a bunny off on what a cost will be for a bunny. Please bear with us if you see adoption prices go up.
Thank you for supporting Bunnies-R-Us Rescue.

Lop-Earred Bunnies
-
Betty ($80)(pending)
holland. mini lop. female
BD: 6-8-20
Weight: 5.8
Betty is sweet and just an old lady that has her ways. She came in with a partner but he was adopted awhile ago, she didn’t want to be with anyone else and did nothing but sit all day. We finally bonded her with several and now she is doing great. But she will lay with you, let you hold her when she wants loving. but over she is a very lazy girl. She would be great for a quieter home
-
Boston ($175)
Holland lop, neutered, Male
BD: 4-5-23
Weight: 4.2
Boston is with Fiona, will be getting him neutered. He is so sweet too, and shows he was loved a lot in his last home. He too came in 2023 as a rescue. I think that is why he and Fiona share a great love they have been in the same situation. Boston is more on the active side but he will let you hold and love him him too. Very sweet boy, would do in any home
-
Brady ($150)
holland lop, Neutered, male
BD: 2-26-22
Weight: 3.8
Brady is bonded with Sydney
Brady is a super sweet boy. He loves his cuddles, he loves to play, uses the litter pan and just a very special boy. The only problem with Brady is he has splay back legs. He was born with them but this is what makes him so special he still can get around and he will melt your heart fast. He would need a special need litter pan so he can get in an out of properly. But he would do great in any home that can make sure he doesn’t have anything to jump off of or one with children who could drop him for this could hurt them worse. Otherwise he is a huge love bug
-

Holland lop mix, female, rescue
BD: 7-26-24

Carmen came from a bad situation. She was in cage with 4 adult bunnies, males and females. They thought they were all males. When carmen had babies they didn’t know who had the babies. They were outdoors and did get held but they had to protect themselves from other bunnies. Carmen is super sweet and is always begging for attention. She’ll do great in any home. We just need to make sure she is not pregnant again before she can leave.
-
Cameron ($125)
Holland lop, male
BD: 3-8-25
Weight: 2.3
All of these babies ears are dropping they are getting so cute and all of them are friendly. Don’t mind being held. They all have the same personality right now will change as they grow
-
careberry ($150)(on hold)
holland lop, female
BD: 10-23-23
Weight: 5.2
on hold until we can get her eyes to clean up
careberry might need a little time to adjust. She also does have allergies to possible bedding. Her eyes were terrible when she came in. We are working on clearing this up. She might need a cleaner home and possible a special hay that does not bother her eyes. We are unsure at this point if it has caused long term damage or not. She does have a sweet heart, she just might need a little more care on her eyes
-
Christopher ($125)
Holland lop, male

Heaven is a sweet girl, she came from a bad situation where she was were several males. So we need to make sure she is not pregnant before she can leave. But she is sweet, likes to be held and she is just wanting to be loved. She will do good in any home and with a partner if she gets spayed.
-
Nymmers ($150)
Holland lop, Spayed, female
BD: 11-14-21
Weight: 4.9
Nymmers, Sookie, Wiggles, Cloud and Powder are all bonding
Nymmers is very sassy, but also very potty trained. I don’t think she has been held much or worked with so she thinks it is okay to lunge at you. She can be sweet once you hold her, but it takes time to get there. She has not bit, but she lunges and could have that in her if she gets mad enough. She would not be good with kids at all, she needs to go to a home where someone can work with.
-
Snickerfoot ($175)
holland lop, neutered, male
BD: 7-23-24
Weight: 4.5
-
Sookie ($100)
holland lop, male, Rescue
BD:8-8-21
Weight: 4.3
This boy is a special boy, and he needs a special home who will love him. HE was found in a ditch and taken to the vet, he had very bad dandruff, so bad his skin was falling off. The skin is slowly growing back and the fur. He just wants you to love, hold him forever. He has a special heart. He doesn’t play much he would rather you love him and just be with you. He would do good in a home who will spend time with him as much as you can. Just a huge lover boy.
He does look a little funny right now but the fur will grow back.
-
Stormcast ($175)
Holland lop, neutered, male
BD: 7-23-24
Weight: 5.0
-
Sydney ($175)
holland lop, spayed, female
BD: 2-26-22
Weight: 4.2
Sydney is bonded with Brady
Sydney should stay with Brady. She doesn’t like to be held like her brother but she is a huge help to him when he wobbles around. She loves her brother and will help him as much as she can. She is more of a floor bunny. She will play with you on the floor and will let you pick her up, but it might take a minute to get her. She is friendly just more of an everyday bunny that is not huge on snuggles. So with brady and her you get a bonus of one that loves cuddles and one that loves to play on the floor.
-
Zek ($150)
American fuzzy lop, Neutered, male
BD: 2-26-23
Weight: 3.6
Zek is very mellow and a good boy, his hold time is low but is improving. He needs to work on using the litter pan but improving. He just needs some direction. He will need a special diet or will need to be shaved so the poop does not stick on him. If he is brushed once a week or gets a partner this will also help keep him clean. Very use to kids
-
Zoloft ($80)
Holland Lop, Female, Rescue
BD: 9-23-21
Weight: 4.3
Zoloft had hurt herself and poked her eye. She is doing good, but looks like she lost that eye and can not see out of it
When Zoloft came in she was very laid back. But then she started to get sassy. She lived outside and was never held or cared properly for. She has only eaten iceberg lettuce and some hay as her diet. Zoloft is Celia’s mom The girls both are having troubles trusting.
Zoloft is more picker on how you put things in her cage. She is more on the lazy side but she does take treats and food out of your hand like it’s her last. We are working on this. She loves to be held but it takes a little to get her out of the cage. She had an awful life and a terrible diet so she loves to eat. She has a sweet heart but she will need some work before you see it. She might do better with someone who has had bunnies prior

Lion head, lop mix, Neutered, Male
BD: 12-17-23
Weight: 7.3
Cinderella, Addison, Aiden and Onyx are bonding together

He would be good in a place where he can roam and really shine. He is a big boy and still young so he has a lot to learn and one thing is learn to trust. Dutch
-
Bun-Bun ($80)
Dutch, Neutered, Male
BD: 10-31-21
Weight: 4.6
Poor Bun-Bun has gone through so much, he was one of my first rescues here, had a home for a few years and since he has been back, he is not the bunny I knew and loved. He was abused at one point and he is having troubles trusting anyone. He has been adopted a few times to try and bond him, but he is aggressive with other bunnies and is showing aggressiveness towards the owners. He really just needs someone who can work with him, for he can be so sweet, he just is so afraid of getting hurt and abused again. He needs to go to a home that has experience and has no other animals.
-
Cinderella ($60)
Dutch, rex, mix, female
BD: 2-1-24
Weight: 5.1
Cinderella, Addison, Aiden and Onyx are bonding together
Cinderella looks like a Dutch, but she has the beautiful blue eyes and the rex coat. She is precious. She does great with the ones she is bonding with and seems to thrive on hanging out with other bunnies. She acts shy at first but she is a sweetheart, potty trained and a very good girl. She would do great in any home.
-
Hollander ($100)
Dutch, Neutered, Male
BD: 11-30-23
Weight: 5.1
Hollander is super sweet, but very shy and timid. He came in so scared he was always hiding in a corner. But when I got him he would let me hold him for a long time. He always looked depressed so I put him with Chloe and now the two are shining. They are both using the litter pan, and do really good together. It has calmed Chloe down and making her more lovable too. I would highly suggest keeping the two together.
Chloe and Hollander are bonded

Satin Mix, Neutered, Male, Rescue
BD: 11-9-24
Weight: 5.4

They will run from you, but the more you work with them the better they will be. They are so sweet once you catch them, but they will need extra love to grow into a good bunny. They would do better in a home with less noise at this point in time, this could chance as they grow
-
Onyx ($125)
Satin, lop mix, spayed female
BD: 2-20-24
Weight: 5.0
Onyx is a super sweet girl. She had EC when she was younger so she does have a wobble and loves to stand up and fall backwards. But she has the heart of gold. She has been adopted but then brought back for they tried to bond her with another bunny but the other bunny got too aggressive with her. She wobbles but she can run. She would do great as a free roamer but can go after cords when she gets bored so they would need to be up or she would need to be in an area where she wouldn't touch them. She is so friendly and loves to be held, loves to play loves to be with Aiden and Addison so I do believe she should go with one of these bunnies. You can’t go wrong with her. But you would have had bunnies prior to make sure she gets the care she needs

Velvet was a rescue and then a re-homer. The family wanted so badly to help her out, but as time went on, she just wasn't a good fit in their home. She is super sweet. She will come right up to you for kisses once she knows you. She will try to get out of her cage when she can because she loves to run and play. She would do great as a free roamer once she gets spayed or better at using the litter pan. She will let you catch her and is just a good girl. She is smart and does respond to your commands. She would do great with other animals and in any home. I call her my cat, since when she free roams she acts like one
