RESCUES AND RE-HOMERS
LOOKING TO GO HOME WITH YOU!
First Steps
Prior to adopting a Rescue rabbit, an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption. An adoption application will be sent to you once we receive your request. Check your spam folder.
Include in your email, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away. We can try to help you find that perfect bunny. If you live far away, and are accepted to adopt, you can likely pick up your bunny on your appointment day.
If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them. They just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.
If a bunny is in pending status, they are already going through an adoption process. If a bunny is on hold, it could be it is showing signs of a sickness, is hurt or has babies, or is on old for a variety of other reasons. You can still adopt but they will have to stay here until we think they are ready for adoption.
All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com
All adoption fees run from $30-$160 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.
We had to up our rates on the ones we fix on our own and I do apologize but in the long run this is helping you adopt a bunny and not have to worry about paying hundreds of dollars that it cost to fix a bunny. If they come in and are fixed this does helps us keep the cost down for those bunnies. Parents dropping off bunnies also help pay a fee to go towards getting them fixed so this too will help some of them be at a lower cost. This was a hard decision to make but to make sure they are cared, loved and fed properly and can continue saving bunnies and adopting them to a new family that will love them forever, it was something we had to do.
We are working hard on getting most of the bunnies spayed/neutered. This is so exciting to add to our new adventure. Getting Bunnies spayed/neutered is a very high cost. Because of this, our adoption prices will also be going up. But this will help you have a better potty trained, happier, and healthier bunny. It depends on what the re-homer pays when dropping a bunny off on what a cost will be for a bunny. Please bear with us if you see adoption prices go up.
Thank you for supporting Bunnies-R-Us Rescue.

Booberry ($80)
holland lop, male
BD: 12-2-21
Weight: 4.4
Boobear is so sweet and a very loveable bunny. He does have bad allergies where he will need eye drops and it causes his eyes to leak. -
Brady ($150)
holland lop, Neutered, male
BD: 2-26-22
Weight: 3.8
Brady is bonded with Sydney
Brady is a super sweet boy. He loves his cuddles, he loves to play, uses the litter pan and just a very special boy. The only problem with Brady is he has splay back legs. He was born with them but this is what makes him so special he still can get around and he will melt your heart fast. He would need a special need litter pan so he can get in an out of properly. But he would do great in any home that can make sure he doesn’t have anything to jump off of or one with children who could drop him for this could hurt them worse. Otherwise he is a huge love bug
-

Holland Lop, Female, Rescue
BD: 7-26-24
Weight: 3.7
Carmen came from a bad situation. She was in cage with 4 adult bunnies, males and females. They thought they were all males. When carmen had babies they didn’t know who had the babies. -
Careberry ($100)
Holland Lop, Female, Rehomer
BD: 10-23-22
Weight: 5.2
Careberry is a sweet and very mellow girl. But she has really bad eye issues. She might have to be on eye drops for the rest of life. Although this is not an extreme expense we still have lowered her price down in the hopes that some one can give her the care she needs. She is lovable but she does not like people touching around her eyes other then that she is sweet and has bonded with other bunnies. She would do better in a home that will be able to make sure she gets proper care for her eyes when needed.

-
Gizmo ($150)
Mini lop mix, neutered male
BD: 3-14-24
Weight: 7.2
Poor Gizmo really just needs a home who will spend time with him and love him. He was rescued from outdoors at only 5 weeks old. He was so frightened and had a hard time trusting humans. He has been adopted twice. We even got him neutered to see if this would help. He still spooks and just can’t get to that true trust wit humans. He is with xenia which has helped. He really needs someone who can work with him. He has a beautiful heart but something really messed him up as a baby and he just seems still so scared even with his last homes. They were being feed and started to thrive but then 2 passed and so did mom. Leaving moana and mauii as survivors. We put them with mayla and her babies and they loved them and excepted them right away. But moana really struggled without mom and moms milk so she ended up passing too. -
Zoloft ($100)
Holland Lop, Female, Rescue
BD: 9-23-21
Weight: 4.3
When Zoloft came in she was very laid back. But then she started to get sassy. She lived outside and was never held or cared properly for. She has only eaten iceberg lettuce and some hay as her diet.
Zoloft had hurt her eye at one point. She might have a blind spot but nothing you need to worry about or even notice. Since she has been here she has become a sweetheart and is bonded with several friends
Zoloft is more picker on how you put things in her cage. She is more on the lazy side but she does take treats and food out of your hand. She loves to be held but it takes a little to get her out of the cage. She had an awful life and a terrible diet so she loves to eat. She has a sweet heart but need a little adjustment period

Weight: 7.3
Bonded With Heaven and Addison
Aiden is shy and not huge on hugs. He is just a normal bunny. He can be sweet and very content as long as he is with Addison. He doesn’t play much just laid back and lazy. He would be good in a place where he can roam and really shine. He is a big boy and still young so he has a lot to learn. One thing he is learning is to trust. He is warming up and coming out of his shell more and more everyday! He will be better with someone who has had bunnies before.

Chilla is very laid back, she loves to chew on timothy hay logs. She is a little shy and needs time to adjust, but she comes out of it pretty fast. -
Jayla ($60)
Lion Head Mix, Female, Rehomer
BD: 7-7-23
Weight: 3.4
Jayla is a sweet little girl, she is on the shy side in the beginning but she will come out of her shell. Someone did rescue her at one point and planned on keeping her but things changed. -
Lincoln ($60)
lion head, satin mix
BD: 12-23-24
Weight: 4.3
Mayla is his mom, landers and london are his brothers
Lincoln is a sweet boy, he loves his snuggles and he loves to play. There are days he will let you love him all day and days he is okay on his own. He really loved his first owner but when she went off to college the mom was unable to get near him. I feel he is a one owner bunny. He is fine since he has been back, but I do feel he would do great with a partner. He would do great with older kids or families who has had bunnies prior.
-
London ($60)
Satin/Lion head mix
Male
BD: 12-23-24
Weight: 4.2
London came back Landers is his brother, mayla is his mom
London came back because he was bonding with another male, When their hormones kicked in London was showing high aggression towards the other bunny. Overall, he is super sweet, loves his cuddles, seems to use the littler pan and a happy boy. He loves to greet u and beg for pets and to be held sometimes when u approach him. He would do best going with a female or on his own. He would do great in any home

-
Millie ($60)
Lion head, female, Rescue
BD: 5-10-24
Weight: 4.3
. She is very shy and timid in the beginning but once she sees you enough she will trust you more and more. She does hide more but she is young and I think she just needs to have a stable life, for she does better if the routine stays the same, She is potty trained, most of the time. She would do better with kids older then 10
-
Toshi ($60)
Lion head, male, rescue
BD: 8-8-22
Weight: 4.5
Toshi had a rough beginning not his fault. but his owner was to sick to care for him and then he passed and toshi was found in bad situations by family. Not sure if he was held prior. He was full of knatts and hungry but he has a big heart and looking to be loved. Once he knows you he will let you hold him, he is content in his cage but I would love to see this boy find a home who will love and let him play till his heart is content. His hold time is low he would do better in a home who someone who has had bunnies and give him the love he deserves.

Tycho is blind in one eye, he also had a defected ball therefor he more likely cannot produce but may not be impossible to. He was found left to die. He Super sweet boy. When he first arrived he was really scared, but now he is always wanting your attention. He does not need special treatment, just maybe eye wipes for his bad eye, sometimes it leaks and will shut if it is not wiped and cleaned every once in awhile. He really needs someone who wants to love him and give him the love he deserves, this boy loves to run up to the front of his cage to greet everyone. We have high hopes for this boy!
-
Xenia ($40)
Lion head, female
BD: 4-7-20
Weight: 2.6
Xenia has been here before, she is sweet but since she was in her last home she came back a little frisky. She will lunge if she is unsure what you are doing, she doesn’t seem to bite just seems spooked. She is with Gizmo who has troubles trusting humans so not sure if this has rubbed onto her or why she is acting so shy. Unsure if she is a great match with Gizmo but they have been together for a year. She might do better on her own. But she just might need a home who can work with her and Gizmo
Rex/Mini Rex
-
Pyper ($40)
Satin, Female, Rescue
BD: 10-26-23
Weight: 6.3
The family found Pyper near their cabin while on vacation. She can be sweet. She begs for attention but really is having a hard time with trust. She is aggressive with most other bunnies but she seems to do well with bunnies that are her size or bigger. Her and Varsha are bonded so it is recommended that they are adopted together as Varsha is the only other bunny she does well with aside from Boulder. She will seem timid at first but she will warm up fast. She would be a great free roamer and very potty trained. Anyone can love this girl.
-
Venus ($60)
Mini Rex, female, rescue
BD: 10-19-22
Weight: 4.8
Venus is super sweet girl. She was dumped and when she came in she was shaved underneath. The family who found her thought maybe someone was getting ready to put her in a pan but she got away. Netherland/Polish Dwarfs
-
Iris ($60)
Netherland Dwarf, Female, Rehomer
BD: 7-4-25
Weight: 2.7
Iris can be sassy when you try to take her out of the cage. She will bite or possibly bat at you. We are working on this and she shows signs of doing better.
update: Iris is with Jayla and Stone. She has not shown signs of aggressiveness since she has been with them. She actually can be a sweetheart, just getting her out of the cage she will run from you, but once you have her she’s great. She has shown signs of improvement being with Stone. They have been caught licking each other and cuddling while sleeping. She needs to go to a home who has had bunnies prior
-
Stone ($100)
Polish dwarf, Neutered, male
BD: 12-26-24
Weight: 2.9
When stone came in he was super sweet, then within a day, he turned aggressive. Attacking your hand when you try to open the cage. I decided to get him neutered. This did not help at first, he was even more aggressive. Then one day he settled down, he is now bonding with iris and jayla and he is starting not to attack and do great. He is just a busy, busy boy. He is going to be a great bunny once in a few months as his hormones really settle down. He would need to go to a home that someone has had bunnies prior

-
Tylenna ($50)
New Zeeland, Female, Rescue
BD: 8-11-23
Weight: 9.2
Tylenna is very shy and has a hard time trusting humans, she came in from animal control who found her. She is so sweet but it takes time to get there. She still needs a lot of work on trusting but she seems super smart. She was very sloppy on using the litter pan and when I showed her what it was for, she is picking it up fast. She needs to go to home who has bunnies and has time to work with her. She would be a great free roamer and one who can sit with her and love her forever.
-
Varsha ($80)
Californian, Female(SPAYED), Rescue
BD: 11-27-21
Weight: 10.1
Varsha is bonded with Tinkerbell and Boulder
Varsha is sweet. She is a big girl and yes she does well with other bunnies but Tinkerbell is very attached to her and is the only bunny that Tinkerbell does well with so we would love to see these two girls go together. She can be a little sassy if she doesn’t want you to pet her. But she can be a big teddy bear when she wants to be. Very potty trained, she would do great in any home.
Dutch
-
Bun-Bun ($80)
Dutch, Neutered, Male
BD: 10-31-21
Weight: 4.6
Poor Bun-Bun has gone through so much, he was one of my first rescues here, had a home for a few years and since he has been back, he is not the bunny I knew and loved. He was abused at one point and he is having troubles trusting anyone. He has been adopted a few times to try and bond him, but he is aggressive with other bunnies and is showing aggressiveness towards the owners. He really just needs someone who can work with him, for he can be so sweet, he just is so afraid of getting hurt and abused again. He needs to go to a home that has experience and has no other animals.
-
Hollander ($100)
Dutch, Neutered, Male
BD: 11-30-23
Weight: 5.1
Hollander is super sweet, but very shy and timid. He came in so scared he was always hiding in a corner. But when I got him he would let me hold him for a long time. He always looked depressed so I put him with Chloe and now the two are shining. They are both using the litter pan, and do really good together. It has calmed Chloe down and making her more lovable too. I would highly suggest keeping the two together.

They will run from you, but the more you work with them the better they will be. They are so sweet once you catch them, but they will need extra love to grow into a good bunny. They would do better in a home with less noise at this point in time, this could chance as they grow

Onyx ($125)
Satin Lop mix, spayed female
BD: 2-20-24
Weight: 5.0
Onyx is a super sweet girl. She had EC when she was younger so she does have a wobble and loves to stand up and fall backwards. But she has the heart of gold. She has been adopted but then brought back for they tried to bond her with another bunny but the other bunny got too aggressive with her. She wobbles but she can run. She would do great as a free roamer but can go after cords when she gets bored so they would need to be up or she would need to be in an area where she wouldn't touch them. She is so friendly and loves to be held however she has shown aggression to other female bunnies so it is recommended that she be alone or with another male. We would prefer if someone who has had bunnies prior to make sure she gets the care she needs.

She had never delt with humans and is very scared and still learning trust. She will let you hold her and pet her, she is just scared so she will hide or shake when you do. She is getting better and just needs to be loved and know its okay. She might do better in a quieter home.

Unknown & Other Breeds
-
Jax ($40)
possible English spot, Male, Rescue
BD: 6-19-24
Weight: 5.4
Jax came in with botflies, and were living in extremely poor conditions. He is just looking to be loved. He is very shy and having troubles with trust issues. But he is really improved since he has been here. He is young and just need extra hold time. He can have a heart and can be so sweet. He would do okay with kids but a quieter home might be better for him
-
Marshall ($60)
Alaskan, male, Rescue
BD:9-3-24
Weight: 7.9
Marshall is super sweet boy. He loves to be held, he wants your attention when you can give it to him. He was a rescue found in the streets and he just wants love. He looked so sad so we bonded him with 4 other bunnies males and females and he is doing great with them. He would do great in any home, but will need some time to adjust
-
Nimbus ($125)
Angora, Neutered, male
BD: 11-5-22
Weight: 3.6
Nimbus spooks easily but when he first came in he was a mess, he still is. I think he was so badly matted he was very uncomfortable. The more we work on him the better he is. Is is with 3 other females and this has made him a happier boy. He needs to go to a home who is willing to brush this boy when he needs it and keep his matting down. He is going to be gorgeous once we get the matts out and it grows back. I do think he will do better with a partner
-
Velvet ($60)
Alaskan, Female, Rescue
BD: 2-14-24
Weight: 9.5
Velvet was a rescue and then a re-homer. The family wanted so badly to help her out, but as time went on, she just wasn't a good fit in their home. She is super sweet. She will come right up to you for kisses once she knows you. She will try to get out of her cage when she can because she loves to run and play. She would do great as a free roamer once she gets spayed or better at using the litter pan. She will let you catch her and is just a good girl. She is smart and does respond to your commands. She would do great with other animals and in any home. I call her my cat, since when she free roams she acts like one.
-
Zenith ($100)
Possible Satin, English spot, Female,
BD: 3-27-25
Weight: 2.4
These babies are the sweetest little ones. The lady who brought them in had rescued a bunny from the streets and a few days later she had babies. She took great care of them and it shows. These were the three left out of 9 that are still looking for homes. Super sweet they would be great for any family wanting to love them forever
-
Jinx ($125)
Satin, Alaskan, Neutered, male
BD: 4-22-24
Weight: 6.1
Jinx is a super sweet boy. when he was brought in the owners thought he was a female. He was an outdoor bunny but as life got harder his owners made a hard decision to surrender him to us because they could not take care of him anymore, When he first got here he spooked real easily but now he is the sweetest boy, he can still be easily spooked sometimes. He just needs someone to love him, he thrives on people and other bunnies being around him. He would do good in any home and would be great as a free roamer, for he is litter trained.
Flemish
-
Boulder ($100)
Flemish, male, rescue
BD: 10-4-24
Weight: 10.8
Boulder was bred to be a show bunny, He was rescued and we took him under the impression he was abused for not doing what he was told to do so he was going to be sent to the gas chamber. When he arrived he was terrified of everything, I couldn’t even feed him or give him water without him trying to bite for it, He didn’t know he was in a safe space yet. He is bonding with Tinkerbell and Varsha. So far he is doing really well, He is super quirky and full of life. He loves to run but be careful this Bunny has no BREAKS! silly boy runs into stuff sometimes, he can be really clumsy when he gets the bunny zoomies! he loves to be pet and have all the attention on him. He just wants all the love in the world! we are planning on getting him neutered because he is extremely hyper.
