Prior to adopting a Rescue an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption. All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com

All adoption fees run from $30-$125 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.

If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them they just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.

Include in your E-mail, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away let us know so we can try to help you find that perfect bunny and if you are accepted to adopt you can just pick up your bunny on your appointment day.

Look in your spam folder we respond less then 12 hours. Respond back ASAP if still interested after reading the information to put a 48 hour hold while you go through the adoption process. You can also add your phone number so we can let you know when your application was E-mailed to you.

    Basil is a sweet lovable girl. She is more on the quiet side and more on the shy side. Between bean and basil, you have a perfect pair, one likes to snuggle one wants to just play. Basil is very calm a just looking for lots of love. She would do great with kids and other animals.

Bean would do great with kids and other animals.

    Blackie is so friendly you can’t help but to love this boy. He loves his snuggles, he loves to be around you and he doesn’t care how long or how you hold him. He is very laid back, not huge in playing but loves to be around you. He did come in with very bad teeth, where they were long and off to the side. Not sure how he was eating prior, but it might be something you would have to bring him back to get them trimmed or to a vet if they grow again. Doesn’t look like they will grow too fast, it could be from not chewing enough. Overall, his heart of gold you can’t help but to love. He would be great with younger kids and other animals. He just has a very good personality. Doesn’t chew or spray.

    Fae is the sweeter one. She will let you pick her up, she needs a litter work on using the liter pan. She was just spayed a month ago, so her hormones are just starting to slow down and every day I see improvements of her letting you hold her. She was not a good match with her sister. Fae would do good in a home that has had bunnies prior.

    Ginger is super sweet, but she does have a sassy side if she doesn’t get her way. She was adopted and brought back for she would not do good with younger kids. Since she has been back, she loves to be petted and doesn’t mind you holding her. I just think loud noises of kids or dogs could upset her and cause her to nip at you. She is potty trained and can be a love bug she just needs the right environment to thrive in.

    Gizmo is a little boy that was thrown to the streets. He is very scared and confused and does not want to play much, but he will snuggle with you for hours. He is just looking for love and someone to teach him how to be a good bunny. He is just a big baby looking for love. loud noise does really frighten him, but as grows this should change. He would be good with anyone looking for a snuggle bug.

    Mable and Murphy are two peas in a pod. They act s much alike. Mable is shy at first and might grunt at you, but once she knows you, she is a sweetheart. She picked up using the litter pa pretty fast. But you need a heavier one, for when she gets bored, she will tip it over. She is very use to cats; she would be great with kids. She is a sweet girl.

    Mae is sweet but everythig is on her terms. She will let you hold her when she wants to be held. She loves to play and needs work on using the litter pan. She was sass when she came in but now we removed her from her sister she is doing much better. I think she needs to be with a male and would thrive. She loves loves to play and can be fun. She just need time to adjust she would do better in a home that has had bunnies prior.

    Murphy is a sweet boy, but he does need time to adjust. He is very shy and afraid of new surroundings. Once he knows you and know you're not going to hurt him he will snuggle with you. He can be very sweet; it just takes a little encouragement to get there. He is very young so he will do better as he is loved more. He is very use to cats unsure of dogs. He does great with kids.

    Nabisco is a sweet girl, she is older and not have a lot of years left but she is very healthy, and you wouldn’t even notice she is older. She is very potty trained. She can spook if you pet her without saying your name otherwise, she is sweet, loves to eat and has a great personality. She would do better in a quieter home and older kid.

    Pookie is one of a kind bunny. She is so full of life and just a busy girl. She needs lots of toys to keep her busy she just wants your attention all the time. She will follow you from her cage, giving you that eye, and looking cute, just begging you to pick her up. She loves snuggles but she is one who will follow you and loving you 100%. She would do great with kids who are very active, she might wear them down before she does. lol

    Reaper is a sweet boy. He will spook when he first meets you. But he will calm right down and loves his snuggles. He will let you pick him up with no issues. He is a lover boy. He was not held much prior, but he does seem to like it. He is very laid back and not wanting to play much, he would be happier just being held and being next to you. He does not spray or chew much. He did come in with really bad dandruff. It was so bad when we cleaned him up, it did take off a lot of his hair on his back. He does have a bald spot, but it will grow back as he heals. He will just need to have more vitamins to his diet and cleaned up more, so this doesn’t come back. He would do better with older kids and a home with less noise since he can spook easily if he doesn’t know the sounds.

    Casper and bon-bon are brothers.

    Bon-bon has lived in 2 homes, that have not worked out. The two boys are not bonded but have been in the same 2 homes and have lived next to each other their whole lives. I would like to see the boys go to the same home but not a must. Bon-bon is a little on the shy side. But very potty trained. A very laid-back boy and just a good bunny. He would be great in any home.

    Bowie is a super sweet girl but very shy. A family found her back in November with a broken leg, She was probably hit by a car. They took her in and got her spayed and fixed her leg before bringing her here. She takes time to trust humans but once she does she loves to play and is very content in her cage. She is very litter trained. I think she would thrive with a partner. You can’t tell she ever had a broken leg. Noise does bother her, especially vacuum cleaners. She would thrive more in a quieter home and someone who has had bunnies prior.

    Casper and bon-bon are brothers.

    Casper has lived in 2 homes, that have not worked out. The two boys are not bonded but have been in the same 2 homes and have lived next to each other their whole lives.     Clea was brought in because of her sassy side. We have not seen this side of her. She lets us hold her, she lets other people hold her and can be so silly when she is playng. I would recommand her getting spayed she does she high homone issues. She is very potty trained she loves her head rubs and she is a very smart girl. Because of her past I would not recommend her with younger children and in a quieter home.

    Ivy was rescues from the wild. She was wandering around a neighbor for several weeks before they could catch her. She was a little underweight but not too bad. She is healthy and is thriving here. She does need to work on using the litter box but is slowly getting it. She is more fragile and can spook at loud noises. She is having troubles trusting people yet, but she will let you hold her for a long time once you have her. She can be sweetheart I just think she will need more time to adjust. She might be better in a home who has had bunnies prior. She might not do good with dogs or cats, but this could change once she gets use to her surroundings.

    This boy is the sweetest. He loves his cuddles; he will let you pic him right up. He is a joy to have. He even has a stuffed bunny he will go with since it is his favorite toy. He would do great with dogs, cats and younger kids. He is potty trained and used to free roaming. He can be such a cuddlier

    Patrick is a sweet boy looking for love. He is a little shy until he knows you. But he will let you hold him while you walk around the house. He loves to play and just a happy camper. He does good on using the litter but still needs work. He was found on the streets so he needs to be held more to get that trust. He is a very good bunny and would do great in any home.

    Ponya and Ham were rescued from a kill shelter. They are very sweet. They do have their days where they pick on each other so they can go separate or together. Ponyo is the leader and more willing for you to pick her up. She will come right up to the cage and let you pet her She will let you hold her and is working on using the litter pan. She would do fine in any home she just needs to be worked with to earn more trust.

    Remy is a super sweet girl. She loves her snuggles and loves to play. You can tell she was held a lot she has super sweet personality. She was bonded with Tootsie but the two started to fight from the other bunny smells here. But they could go together, and they both are very sweet. Remy does have a bad leg, looks like she had hurt it when she was a baby and not fixed. She can still get around a lot but you have to make sure she does not jump off of anything and make it worse. She just needs a little more love and she will eat it right up. She just is a specal girl. She would be great with kids; they just have to be careful on how they hold her.

    Snoopy is a good boy. He has been here almost the longest. He was adopted and brought back. He loves to play; he does not always like to be held but he is just a sweet boy. He can be shy, but once he knows you, he will melt your heart. He needs to work on using the litter, but I think he will do great if he gets neutered. He loves to see other bunnies so he would be good with a partner if he gets neutered. He would be great with kids that don’t want to hold him a lot but like to do floor time. Other animals he would get use to just would need time to adjust.

    Tootsie (original name toto) is super sweet girl. She loves her snuggles and loves to play. You can tell she was held a lot she has super sweet personality. She was bonded with Remy but the two started to fight from the other bunny smells here. But they could go together, and they both are very sweet. Tootsie would be great with kids.

    Allie is a good girl just looking to be loved. She was dumped with two other bunnies, but a good family was able to catch all 3 and brought them here. Allie had a few bites on her butt and a lot of hair missing. She is healing up nicely. It looks like she was attacked from another bunny since they were not deep. Allie is right there at the cage wanting you to pick her up. She loves kisses and snuggles. She is a just looking for someone to love her. You would would love this little girl personality. She is not shy and would be fine for kids, unsure if dogs or cats would scare her, until she is older than she would be fine

  • Bunyon ($80)

    Bunyon is a super sweet boy, and so is his brother Bunyon. Right now, the t boys are in the same cage. They are not fighting but this could change as they get older. These two are the same and very special sweet boys. You would love both or even just one. They would be great with kids and other animals. They were free roaming and do great. You will not go wrong with these precious boys

    Shayne, Mikah, Matty and Chyann all came in together. These 4 all have the same personalities, and they can be so sweet. They were rescued from being tuned into meat bunnies, but they were held a lot by young children. They were all very scared when they came in and now, they are thriving and doing great. They all are just looking for someone to love them and let them run for they have been stuck in cages their whole life.

But they don’t always like to be held. They are lap companions. They are potty trained and do great but do have their days. Willow is the boss of the two and will let Hazel know it once in a while. They are just a good pair to have. They are used to kids and would do good with cats, unsure of dogs but would adjust over time.

She came in as a re-homer, but the family said she was a recue prior and was probably abused. She just needs to know see is okay and loved. She can be sweet, it just takes a minute to get there. She would do better in a home that has had bunnies prior. She is very use to cats.

She just thinks she is a cat

    Anna and her sisters are very young. They have a lot to learn but they did come from a bad situation, so they need to work on trust. Anna is still working on trust issues and out of the three girls she is having the most problems. She does not like to be held at all, spooks when you get near her. She would need to go to a home that someone has experience with and who can work with her. She just needs more time to adjust. The more you hold her the better she gets, but she will need a lot of work to get to be that loving bunny she can be. She will take treats from your hand sometimes, but she is more of a picker eater. She using the litter pan most of the time. She might not do good with in a home with younger kids or other animals.

    Elsa and her sisters are very young. They have a lot to learn but they did come from a bad situation, so they need to work on trust. Elsa is still working on trust issues.
